The live Escape Room is a relatively new genre of entertainment. It is a physical adventure game where participants are locked inside a room and must explore their surroundings and solve various puzzles and logic challenges in order to get out. Before the live version, Escape the Room video games became popular in Japan and spread quickly to other parts of the world and to other formats such as iPhone apps.

(Part 2) – MISTAKES I Made in My First Year in Real Estate!
In this series, Keith demonstrates some of the mistakes he made in the early years of his real estate career. Today, Keith talks about one of the mistakes he used to make in regards to showing houses.

Hi, this is Keith May with Keller Williams Realty in Edmond, OK again some mistakes I made my first year in the business and my first handful of years in the business . . . I simply showed too many houses as a young REALTOR.
Perhaps I had the misconception that the more houses I showed the more service and the better job I was doing for the client. Maybe being younger you’re a little more anxious to do a good job for people in reality what buyers want is not to necessarily see a hundred houses – what they want is a REALTOR to listen to their needs and their most important wants and then match that up. I was told many years a o that the average buyer will look at 12 houses before they will buy a property. Now I heard at our Keller Williams Convention in early 2017 that number is down to ten before they look at houses. Even with all the technology people still want to physically see 10 houses before they pull the trigger on something.
Again, I work more with sellers now than I do buyers but when I show a buyer properties, rarely, rarely, will I show more than about 4 or 5 at a time and I’ve found that buyers simply don’t want to see more than that at a time because things run together and they get confused on what goes with what – what color, what bedroom was, which kitchen had the updates.
